At the Cambridge Institute, registering for an English course is quick and easy.
You should register as early as possible as many courses fill up quickly.
You can register in the following ways:
Online at the Cambridge Institute’s website. Pay by Dankort or credit card.
Personally at the offices of the Cambridge Institute: Borgergade 14, 1st floor, 1300 Copenhagen K
The majority of the Cambridge Institute’s courses are supported by public grants under the Danish Public Information Act. This legislation demands that participants give their name, date of birth, and address upon registration, and that all participants who are attending a course outside their own municipality provide their full CPR number.
Confirmation of successful enrolment on the desired course is sent by email.
In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled, we will try to offer you a similar course. If you do not wish to transfer your registration to the alternative course, your initial payment will be refunded in full. If you cancel your registration for a course, a refund can only be given if you cancel no later than one week before the scheduled start date. After this point, your registration is binding. In the case of cancellations, we deduct an administration fee of 100 kr.
Placement on the correct level
You will get the most out of the teaching if all the participants on the course are at the same level. Therefore, we ask all students to take our online language test prior to enrolment.
Transferring to a different course
You can be moved to another course if your request is made at least one week before the course is scheduled to start. Beyond this point, your registration is binding. If you start your course, but find out that you are at the wrong level, you can be moved to another course that is scheduled for the same period if there is a space on the desired course. This should be arranged in consultation with your teacher and/or language consultant. The transfer must take place before the third session.
Course textbooks should be bought before the start of the course. You can buy the books we use online from Academic Books: www.academicbooks.dk or in their store:
Øster Farimagsgade 5A
1353 Copenhagen K
There is no teaching during the school Christmas, autumn and Easter holidays. We encourage all course participants to ask their teacher about the specific dates. There is also no teaching on public bank holidays.
Duration of lessons
One lesson is 45 minutes.
A certificate confirming participation on a specific course can be obtained from the office after the end of the course as long as 80% of the sessions have been attended.
The Cambridge Institute does not accept responsibility for any errors in, or changes made to, the course programmes.
