B2.1 and B2.2 Business conversation and writing - super intensive
If you really want to improve your English for professional use in a short time, this is the course for you.
In less than two weeks, you will have a total of 40 lessons, during which you will improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
Four times a week, you will meet other students who are just as motivated as you are. In addition, because you will also have tasks to do at home, you will be focusing on your English almost every day, which will be reflected in the progress you can expect to make. At the same time, it will be much easier for you to remember any new words and phrases when you are using the language so frequently.
Students on intensive courses often need to improve their English quickly in order to advance their career or because they have to change jobs or need to give a presentation in English in their current position.
Therefore, we expect that you already use English in your job and know the basics because on this course we take things a step further so you are able to:
- negotiate using fluent and accurate language so you avoid entering into bad agreements
- confirm appointments
- handle situations where communication has broken down
- enter a new market
The specific topics we will cover include:
- job satisfaction
- workplace culture
The primary focus is on making sure you improve your spoken English, but you will also write short texts at home. During the course, your teacher will give you feedback on some written assignments.
You will have the opportunity to fine-tune your grammar and expand your vocabulary with words like extremely and slightly and prefixes such as un, multi, mis, over, out, in and ultra.
We recommend that you buy the book Market Leader 3rd Edition Extra Upper Intermediate Course book with DVD-ROM Pack (Pearson Education ESL), ISBN 9781292134819, before the course starts. You will have access to our online learning platform, Moodle, where you will find the course plan, teaching material, homework and other useful online resources for learning English, which your teacher has selected for you and your class. Via Moodle, you can also communicate with your teacher and fellow students.
