Telephone conversation skills - one-day seminar
Learn how to speak politely and express yourself clearly over the phone. In the course of a day, you will develop your confidence and fluency when having telephone/skype conversations.
If speaking on the phone is part of your work when dealing with business counterparts and colleagues, suppliers and customers, then this one-day intermediate level seminar is for you. You will feel more secure and professional in your communication.
We will focus on fluency, accuracy, comprehension, vocabulary and useful phrases, and you will have the opportunity to practise what you learn through role-plays. By the end of the day, you will have improved your skills in the following areas:
- Conveying good customer service
- Making general enquiries
- Dealing with problems
- Taking messages and clarifying information
- Changing and confirming appointments
- Expressing yourself politely
- Being formal or informal
- Making small talk or having social conversations on the phone
You do not need to buy a book for this course as all teaching material is included in the price.
You will have access to our online learning platform, Moodle, where you will find the course plan, teaching material and other useful online resources for learning English, which your teacher has selected for you and your class. Via Moodle, you can also communicate with your teacher and fellow students.
The number of students on all courses at the Cambridge Institute is a maximum of 8. Small classes mean that your teacher has more time to help you personally on your course.
