Do you need to prepare for the Cambridge C2 Proficiency Exam (CPE)?
Or would you like to hone your advanced English skills in a structured way? Then this fully online 6-week course is for you.

A C2 Proficiency qualification demonstrates that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. It proves you can communicate with the fluency and sophistication of a highly competent English speaker and study or work in very senior professional or academic environments. A C2 Proficiency qualification is a onetime investment for life.
During the course we will go through all skills and exam parts:

  • Reading and use of English

  • Writing

  • Listening

  • Speaking

At the same time, you will study grammar, so your English will be improved all-round.

Continual assessment and feedback from your teacher
During the course, you will get the opportunity to practise your writing. You will be expected to complete written and other assignments at home and to read from a variety of different sources. You will also complete previous exam papers to assess your readiness for the CPE exam. You will receive continual feedback from your teacher and advice about how to use English in specialised contexts.

You should expect 2-4 hours of preparation each week, which includes the written assignments.

Note! This course requires a confirmed start level of C2. To find your current level please take our free online test:
cambridgeinstitute.dk/da/praktisk-info/sprogtest.

Studieskolen is the only test centre in Denmark that is allowed to arrange the Cambridge English exams and as Cambridge Institute is a part of Studieskolen, when you participate in the course, you will receive a 10% discount on the price of the exam, which is normally 2,295 kr.

Teaching material
The course is not based on a course book. Instead your teacher will provide all the teaching material, which is taken from a variety of exam related and relevant sources and is included in the price. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to practice authentic exam questions and familiarise yourself with the CPE layout.

How do the online lessons take place?
You take part in the class via the video conferencing programme, Zoom. Your teacher will send you a link with a secure code to the class meeting room. You and your fellow students will meet online once a week. You will work with authentic texts, video and audio clips as well as interactive group tasks. Online classes are similar to face-to-face classes in that you can work in groups, take part in classroom discussions, raise your hand and share your work with everyone.

Overview of the course layout and material
You will receive access to our online digital platform, Moodle. Moodle provides a comprehensive overview of the entire course. You will also be able to contact your classmates and discuss the activities taking place in your class.

On Moodle you can:

  • see the plan for the course, the individual teaching sessions and homework

  • see teaching materials including extra materials such as videos

  • communicate with your teacher and your fellow students

  • follow up and catch up on lessons missed if you are absent during the course
