Improve your English quickly!
Four days a week for two weeks - improving English could hardly be more intensive.
Do you want to improve your spoken and written English quickly together with just 4-7 fellow participants who are just as motivated as you are? If so, then a super-intensive course is for you. This B1+.3 and B1+.4 English for Professional Life course is aimed at those who are already good at English, but want to improve their fluency and accuracy even further.
At this level, you can express yourself to such an extent that you are able to discuss exciting topics such as understanding different cultures in business contexts, gender equality on the labour market, developments on the international markets, trade between China and the United States, business ethics and good leadership.
For written assignments, you will have the opportunity to write an email about trade in leather goods and a letter for a health retailer who needs a new manager for which you will receive feedback from your teacher.
We recommend that you buy the book Market Leader 3rd Edition Extra Intermediate Course book with DVD-ROM Pack (Pearson Education ESL), ISBN 978-1292134772, before the course starts. The book has been developed in cooperation with The Financial Times. We will study selected pages from chapters 7-12.
You can buy the book here: www.academicbooks.dk, or at Academic Books, Øster Farimagsgade 5A, 1353 Copenhagen K.
You will have access to our online learning platform, Moodle, where you will find the course plan, teaching material, homework and other useful online resources for learning English, which your teacher has selected for you and your class. Via Moodle, you can also communicate with your teacher and fellow students.
The number of students on all courses at the Cambridge Institute is just 4-8. Small classes mean that your teacher has more time to help you personally during each lesson.
Preparation time: 1-2 hours per week.
